Standard Color Options

INTRABOND’s aluminum composite architectural panels incorporate PPG Duranar® FC coating systems which impart exceptional performance and durability. The architectural facing surface is coated with a standard 2-coat or metallic 3-coat paint system. The fluoropolymer finishes combine a proprietary resin – 70% Kynar 500 ® (PVDF) - and COOL pigment technology resulting in higher solar reflectance values and coatings that are highly resistant to color and gloss fade as well as surface damage including chipping, cracking, crazing, erosion, abrasion and impact.

2-Coat System
• .2 mil corrosion inhibitive primer
• .8 mil fluoropolymer color coat

2-Coat Mica System
• .2 mil corrosion inhibitive primer
• .8 mil fluoropolymer color coat with mica flakes

3-Coat Metallic System
• .2 mil corrosion inhibitive primer
• .8 mil fluoropolymer color coat
• .8 mil clear topcoat

Duranar® FC coatings meet or exceed the industry performance requisites of AAMA 2605 and AAMA 620. As a component of INTRABOND composite aluminum panels, they are backed by a 30-year warranty.
